Listen: GHXST – Black Camaro

Hailing from New York City, grunge (or “deth grunge” as their Facebook states) band GHXST are releasing their new single, ‘Black Camaro’ on June 25th via Club.The.Mammoth/Tip Top recordings. The band take their influence from various arrays of nineties alternative music from grunge to industrial and have influences ranging from Sonic Youth to White Zombie.

The track is three minutes of dirty grunge noise presented on two guitars and drums (that’s right, no bass) with female vocals. The trio have crafted their own unique style of grunge a rare sound to have in 2012′s music scene (maybe guitar is not dead after all!). Have a listen to the song below.
